DIear Community,t’s amazing we are already coming to the holiday season. Though it’s our favorite time of the year, we feel timehas escaped us. If I could take a magic wand to get our 12-foot tree out of storage so Ronnie doesn’t have to struggle with putting it up and magically put up all the ornaments, it sure would be an amazing gift! Overtheyears, gettingthetreeuphas taken place right after Thanksgiving and stays there after January! If I could keep it up year long with out any criticism, I would do it in a heartbeat! I love how the house looks in the evening with all the sparkle of Christmas lights and for all the work we put into it, it only makes sense to keep the tree up a little longer than just the holidays, right? We love this time of year when our grown kids come over to the house for Christmas Eve and now, we are grandparents, and having a little one sure makes Christmas even more exciting for us. This is also a time of year we take some time off from our newspaper deadlines to enjoy the season. This gives us some time to rejuvenate and start back up after the holidays. If you are looking for some fun ideas of things to do, there are many wonderful events to attend this time of year. Turn to page 6 and also look at our calendar of events pages 12 & 13. We are lookingforward to checking out some of these festivals and holiday events ourselves as a way to create some special memories. We hope you enjoy this holiday season whether you celebrate Christmas, Chanukah or other.
